fantabulous sentosa!

yay~ prelims is finally finally over! yippee! lemme recap what my post prelims schedule was so far...while my neck is hurting from yesterday

chem paper finished at about 11...after that was a period of splitting myself...hahaz...class was going out to celebrate cheryl's birthday...oac going out to eat...hmmm...cut myself into 2?? hahaz...koon, weishan and i decided to join oac for lunch before going to join our class in the birthday celebrations...

so we went to plaza singapura for pizza! tired out the lunch express set lunch...2 reg pizza plus soup plus rings, calamari, chicken drumlet...for about 8 bucks...quite a filling lunch tho! very nice! hahaz...ate my fill...crapped for a while before leaving with koon to join the serenaders...who are conveniently at cafe cartel...just 2 storeys above us! met up with the rest of the class and was just in time for the birthday celebrations...the "cake" was a waffle with ice-cream...could remember what happened when paul ate...he put the fork in...took it out...and a gooey trace was linking paul's mouth and the fork...what it is i dun wanna think...yucky...hahaz...after that, paul, koon, gapoh, yong jian, kel, chong hwee and i went to paul's house there to play bball...stamina drop like siao...play a while tired...played several games...very shiok...haven worked out in a long long while liao...after playing...brought the rest to tiong bahru to take mrt and that was the end of the first day...just a tiny prelude to yesterday! hahaz...=)...

yesterday, while the j1s were having their gp paper and math lecture after that...we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves! hahaz...woke up at about 730...lazed around and starting preparing for the outing later...brought my camera and other stuff...left house...think i was quite early...still had time to go to cold storage to shop for food and reach harbourfront 5 minutes early...well...cant help it that i leave so close right? hahaz...=P...waited and waited for people to come...by 9.30 i think we made our way to sentosa...during then...only got ben, wl, koon, nini, pg, hui hui, tze, mt, con, zhemin, siao hui, huifen and i...thirteen of us...

we reached sentosa...went to siloso beach and found a nice spot to settle down...the 4 of us guys played bball...sweated a lot and in the end...the four of us went topless...hahaz...the weather was good man...got sun but not too hot...=)...after we played ball and some of them played cards...we play vball...very shiok...then it was into the water! =)...very cooling! lalalaz...then it was back to more bball! played against some other people...at first they were thrashing us lar...but after a while we got our act together and started to sink shots in...yay...then vball again! this time...the ball stayed in the air much longer and there were good shots made...and of course...there were some hilarious shots...hehez...played cards for a while longer...before we went to wash up for dinner...=)...sang to yujin's strumming while waiting...then mingjuan came up with the idea for musical fountain...so we made a detour there...was quite disappointed about it...thought it would be more spectacular...but not so lar...at char kway tiao and prawn noodle cos i was so so hungry! chatted a while more and went home!

all in all...it was a crazy and tiring day...but very very shuang! being with the rest of oac is so fun! 20 of us turned up for the outing...which was quite good attendance! the old feeling of being around oac people is coming back! =) feels very homely and comfortable! hehez...=)

mid-autumn festival 2004

the long awaited maf is here! hahaz...supposed to meet the rest at 730...but 75% of the people(including me) is late lar! hahaz...arrived just in time to watch to grand light up...met ryan...but he has to leave by 8...cos he unwell...cannot stay long...but he bought a balloon from the juniors and we made him do something about the balloon...muahahaz...after waiting and waiting...went over to the auditorium area to visit the balloon stall set up by the 30th...when i went there...was quite shocked by what i saw lar...the area was more than half empty! the number of stalls...to put it simply...is pathetic larz...think alot of cca are sian diao after the homecoming carnival festival liao and dun want to set up during maf...sad-ded...the atmosphere in the street market is not there larz...so bare...haix...school really horz...

the crowd also quite small...not as populous as last year...which was so packed! think that this year maf right in the middle of prelims...alot of j2s chose not to come and stay at home to continue pia-ing...well...they have their own preferences...i certainly din regret coming...cos i was fun!

then there was this song session and dance session...where we just sang our hearts out...sang "home" and "cheng li de yue guang" which i dun understand the need to...just wanna sing the hwachong songs that are much nicer...hehez...after that...went to the area outside tahan room for the annual OAC "Wu Lin Da Hui" or Pugilistic Gathering...hehez...there the 30th introduced themselves to the seniors and grand seniors and so on and so forth...hahaz...seniors from 22nd and 24th came back too...the 24th CI Junqiang came back...but have to leave after a while...accord to Hock, the 26th CI...finally managed to meet Renjian, the 27th CI, cos he was involved in outfield assignment last year during maf and could not come back...guoqiang was also there...but left earlier...hehez...CIs from 24th all the way to 30th...except for Jingyi who was in the States studying...Renjian and Hock very friendly and nice lar...maybe it runs in the tradition that all CIs are so nice! muahahaz...a little bhb here...=P...took a nice big big family reunion photo at the road there cos stupid uncle chong switched off the lights at 930! and everywhere was darkness larz! haix...but it was very nice to see the big OAC family there...got around 80 people there lar! very nice atmosphere! hehez...hope next year i can come back for maf and not be involved in any outfield assignments! hahaz...
